Weston Underwood is smaller than Stoke Goldington but has a very nice pub and is famous for its links with William Cowper the poet who wrote some of the Olney Hymns with John Newton and lived in the village from 1786.

Olney is about three miles away holds a market every Thursday and a farmers' market once a month on a Sunday. It is a bustling town with many attributes and is famous for the annual Pancake Race.

Newport Pagnell is about five miles away, is a medium sized town which was mentioned in the Domesday Book and has links to the Civil War. It also houses the nearest swimming pool. For more information :-
